Ben Vereen, który w odcinku "Cleaning House" zagrał Sam Gibbsa - ojca James'a, brata Barney'a - pojawi się ponownie w serialu! Powiadomił o tym oficjalnie na swoim profilu na portalu Twitter! Parę tygodni temu pojawiła się też informacja, że ponownie zobaczymy Wayne'a Brady'ego w jednym z odcinków szóstego sezonu. Można więc domniemać, że poszukiwania ojca Barney'a znów będę jednym z głównych tematów.

Właśnie spędziłem dzień na planie z Frances Conroy/ Wayne'm Brady'm. Jestem dumna z bycia ich synem/bratem. Podekscytowany szóstym sezonem.

TV Guide podał, że Bob Vereen i Wayne Brady pojawią gościnnie w serialu CBS - How I Met Your Mother. Oboje pojawią się w drugim już odcinku, który pojawi się już 27. września 2010 (szósty sezon pokaże się premierowo 20. września). Brady'ego mogliśmy już zobaczyć jako brata Barneya w 2006 roku, potem znów powrócił w roku 2007. Vareen zagra ojca Brady'ego. Nikt nie wyklucza, że to może być odcinek musicalowy. Z muzycznymi zdolnościami Brady'ego, Vareen'a i Neila Patricka Harrisa (który gra Barney'a), ta opcja wydaje się prawdopodobna.

ENG TV Guide reports that Ben Vereen and Wayne Brady will be guest starring on CBS' How I Met Your Mother next season. Both men will appear in the second episode of the sitcom's sixth season, airing on Monday, September 27, 2010. (Season six premieres on Monday, September 20). Brady returns as James Stinson, Barney's black, gay brother. Brady premiered the character in a 2006 and reprised the role again in 2007. Vereen will play Brady's father. No word on wether or not the episode will include a musical production. With the musical talents of Brady, Vereen and Neil Patrick Harris (who plays Barney), however, a musical addition to the stint seems likely. broadwayworld.com
